wc tires

i have a 37 wc with 45 crank flat top pistons and some head work bigger valves it has a sherman step down looking for advice on what people are running for tires and rims

15.5x38 on cut down farmall F-20 wheels what I run on mine.

How much does that step down transmission give you? I knew they made them but was never around one. I have an rc with the low rear in it do you think it is about the same as that? Anybody know of any of these for sale?

I run 15.5-38 farmall regular rims 36" cut to fit inside a 38" rim. at stock rpms it is about 4mph a shurman is almost the same speed as rc gears or wc highcrop rear end. you would be about 3 mph. I know of one or two underdrives but he wan't too mutch for them.

pics went 325 feet on blacktop. it was a 3.5 mph limit with a digital readout. I had to Idle it until I got down the track and could open it up more.

the sherman gives me two lower speeds i dont know the miles a hour 1st and 2nd under is slower than 1st direct

16.9-30s work well also. Perfect gearing for standard gear rear end.
