wd 45 Gov Spring

I was trying to do a little back-woods stiffining of my spring and of coarse it broke has anyone got any ideas of another spring?? I have been told of the gleaner spring but these just are not around E Tenn. Tahnks for your time!!
 
haney equipment in athens alabama is where i get most my parts .talk to louis them boys are pullers also . I to live in east tn . I should have a few new springs at the shop but I am working 7 12s for the next month.
 
if you are pulling antique stock and want to be 10% over rpms get a 175 allis spring. i run this spring in my wd45 and it put it at 1900. call dean ag services in maryville missouri and they can fix you up. 800-589-2426
 
try Davis Tractor in Philadelphia Tn I got a d17 gov spring for my wc I think about 20.00 picked the rpm's up a bit. lot's of allis here in E. Tn if you know where to look hope this helps

i dont pull over 1900 and the 175 put it right there with no adjustment. a 175 was for 1800 rpms. i put a e gleaner spring in and it did just like the d17 spring 1600
 
CHECK YOUR LOCAL NAPA. IN THE BALKAMP LINE THEY HAVE A SPRING THAT RAISED MY RPM'S TO AROUND 2550. IT IS THE SAME LENGHT BUT BIGGER WIRE SIZE.
