WD-45 Governor

I was wondering if or how often a WD-45 Governor might need, tuning, maintenance, repair or replacement. Are they pretty much bullet proof or not?

They almost never need attention, sometimes tractors that were used alot with implements like balers that surge the governor alot needs more maintenance on governors, but I never had any problems with my Wd-45 gov. It respond a lot quicker than my farmall H also

I use a 3-point disc on mine and a small 2-row planter. Would those create enough surge to cause a problem?

Nope. The surge from a square baler comes from the plunger stroke needing some extra power roughly once a second.

LOVE those WD-45 Governors...!! They can kick in and rattle slip-clutches all over the place...!!!!
(NEVER grease a Ratcheting Slip-Clutch)...!!!!!
