WD wide front

I am looking at a schwartz wide front for my wd. Should there be a gearbox or does it somehow use my narrow front gearbox?

Some aftermarket wide fronts used a drag link that connected to the wide front and the original steering pedestal- bottom end, where the wheels attached.

Wide front ends have their own unique gear box. You can't adapt a pedestal to use with a wide front unless you are a machinist. Bob

Factory AC wide fronts have they're own gearbox, I have a schwartz front end that uses the tricycle gearbox and the steering arm attaches to it.
