WD with D17 engine oil flow

I put a D17 engine in a WD frame and I can"t get any oil pressure. I pulled the pan and repaired and cleaned the pickup and no pressure. I then realized I plugged the hole where the pressure comes from on the block. I am not sure which direction the oil is supposed to flow. The hole I plugged is about an inch or so below the line going to the bottom of the filter. I am thinking this new line needs to go up to the head maybe? If someone has one and they could send a picture that would be perfect.
Thanks

Hi, there is a line that goes from the underside of the filter housing to a tee fitting about 1 inch higher from the relief valve. there is another line that goes from that tee to the head. make sure you have the correct style filter too. I would try removing the oil filter and start it (at idle) and see if oil is coming at all. if oil is coming try plugging these holes with your fingers to see if some pressure is registered on the gauge.

I am not an expert, I am only 18 years old but i am restoring the tractor (1952 WD) and i am learning through the process.
Hope this helps you
