My questions are two fold. Looking at trading an old set of tractor tire chains for a weight bucket for my mf40. Curious if anyone knows how heavy a gallon of cured cement weighs? Or further how heavy 55 gallons of it is? My guess is the bucket is around 800 lbs.
The other thing is when i would have it all the way up i would only have about 13" of clearance from the bottom of the barrel to the ground. Seems too low to me, anyone have an opinion? The guy has a smaller one although it is much smaller, and i believe that for traction in the winter, and safety with the loader i want all the weight i can have. Is there a rule of thumb to use for weight?
Thanks
