weight on 1945 A

I have a 1945 A that I use for pulling. I am changing it from cast wheels to stamped steel wheels. How much weight will I lose?

I have a 44 B with stamped steel wheels and it weighs about 400 pounds less than the exact same tractor with cast.

alot depends on what pressed steel wheels you put on you will lose roughly 500lbs

My 1945 A with pressed steel wheels, hand start weighs 4100 lbs +/- depending on different scales.

Mine is handstart and weighs 5050 now. Hoping to get to 4500 lb

Probably not enough for you to cheat your way into 4500

4500 should be easy with pressed steel wheels and a round back instead of the rockshaft housing. Should be around 4300#. Mike
