weighted hubs

I dragged home a 49 B for parts today, didnt even notice till got it unloaded that it had weighted hubs on the front. Are these anything special? There in great shape if anybody was looking for a set, also got 9 bolt rear hubs and other misc. parts for late B. Im in N.Y. thanks

If the "weighted hubs" are wheel weights mounted to the front rims with three bolts, take them off and look for a casting# B2016R on the backside. If that's what you have they're worth a lot.

weighted hubs were used on non rolamatic front ends to compensation for the weight difference.

No bolt on weights,just hub #B2379R just wounder what fair value is. They are on a solid front end, will they a roll-matic?

While the hubs will physically fit on a Roll-O-Matic spindle the offset in the hub is different. You will have very wide spaced wheels when you get done. The ROM hub flange is pretty well centered while the non-ROM flange is toward the outside of the hub. Mike
