weights for the 9n

i would like to get DH to make a front bracket for em to hang on. i was wondering how much weight i should put up there (we live on hilly terrain) also they want $50.00 ea, claim they are 47 kilograms which = 103 lbs right? is that a good price ?

Around here weights sell from about $.50 to $1.00 per pound.
It's hard to tell what those weigh from the picture, but I would
think they would have to be very large (based on thickness) to
weigh 100 lbs each.
On the 9N, you don't need a lot of weight up there to hold it down.
More troublesome to me would be where you hang it.
If he can build a bracket to hang it off the framework it might be
ok, but I wouldn't want to hang too much weight off a bracket
made like the bumpers that bolt to the front axle.

we agree, we were thinking of running something down under to bolt to something for extra support.

About the going rate, perhaps a bit on the low side.

I would not hang more than 250 Lbs. or so on the N front axle.

$50.00 a piece is about half price around here for 50-100# hang on wts. Buy them all, resell them and use the profit to buy some bolt on half wts.

a 9n isnt heavy dut enough to hang much weight on it. the front end wont hold up to it long IMO
