I am new to pulling and want to add more weight to our 1952 john deere A. Where is the best place to get suit case or wheel weights and what would they cost. Thanks for all the help!

i'm getting mine from deere in south carolina at $72.00 per 100lb and LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES can order a john deere lawn and garden weight 42lb for $41.00 delivered to the stores and you pick up.the l&g weight has the deere logo molded in to each weight. RC

Hey Ricky, That't pretty good info. I need a couple of those 42#ers.

Don't remember where I got them, but I have a set of 10 - 10# ers. Makes it real easy to make weight. If you can get within a hundred pounds when you get to the sled, you pretty much know what has to come off that way. About 2 years ago I paid about 10-12 bucks apiece for them.

Where are you located? I just picked up some 100 lb ones for $40 each. I think the guy I bought them from has a few left and some wheel weights also.

i ordered one to see if it is as pictured. deere has them for $43 but they are ugly as can be. looks like i cut them out with a propane torch. he he
