What did this front axle originally belong to?

This front axle does not appear to be original to my JD2510. Every picture I've seen of a 2510 has had the retention bolts through the sides, not the top.

Question is, out of curiosity more than anything, what axle did a previous owner replace mine with?

Its a Schwartz aftermarket front end.
Most likely replaced a narrow front on
your tractor.

Yep Schwartz. I had one on a 706.

I think that might be a Norden wide front. Another aftermarket brand.

Your tractor most likely had a narrow front from the factory.

It looks like a schwartz, but it could also be a speeco, they are almost identical, I have one of each.

It sure is. I m currently trying to break it loose so that I can move it in a bit to get in between my loader jacks.
