What is a CA worth?

My aunt has a very nice CA Allis Chalmers that she is selling. It has the original electrical system, brand new tires and a very nice paint job. All the sheet metal is very straight. She already has a buyer we just want to make sure both parties are treated fairly. I have very little knowledge of AC's so I thought maybe you guys could help. Thanks

I sold mine a few years ago for $1750 with a plow, a dirt scoop, a three point hitch, very good rear tires, new front, paint about 5 years old. An auction just ended on Ebay for one with good tires in the rear and straight sheet metal - needed paint. The owner had a reserve on it or it would have sold for $225. Recognizing that values are not the same everywhere in the US, I can't imagine a CA being worth $3000 unless it had a rebuilt engine, was thoughtly restored (brakes, hydraulics, clutch, bearings). I'd like to have one again because it is a nice tractor. I see them advertised at dealers for $2500 at times but never seen a private person or auction get that much.

Ibought this one in february for $1800. I thought that was a bunch below the market, but it was an auction and everyone had the same chance that I did.

Thanks guys I appreciate the input although I will have to say I'm very surprised. I expected to hear $800 to a $1000 but that's why I came to guys that have a better idea. Thanks again and happy tractoring!
