Google 9N aircraft tug or just aircraft tug. Lots out there. 9n might have been one of the first. Some used to pull new planes off assembly lines.

I Googled kitty hawk tug.....all I can find is information on the tugs on the carrier. What the heck is it?

Our school had two that were used to pull reel type gang mowers to mow the play and athletic fields with. I'm guessing they came from one of the nearby military bases through GSA.

I disagree. Kitty Hawk was an air cargo and charter operator based at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The tug probably came from there. They had trouble with bankruptcies and so forth over the years. Below is the Wikipedia entry.
