WHAT IS IT??

I have a lawn and garden tractor, painted JD colors, no tag to identify the make or model. It has a 20 HP Kolher twin with hydro stat drive, I need an axle shaft. Here are some pictures, hope someone can help.

Section of frame shown and transmission case and brakes look like narrow frame cub cadet parts. Why no picture of the entire tractor?
Highly modified with all the hydraulics and 3 point around it. fenders don't look like cub cadet parts either.

I think if the transaxle is Cub Cadet, it would have a tag or place for a tag just behind the hydraulic cylinder in the rear view.

That transaxle at least started out as part of a IH Cub or Cub Cadet. It looks like the tractor was highly modified or shop built, and your broken (?) axle shaft looks like it sheared off pretty straight.

Was it cut and welded to shorten or lengthen it? The pictures don't allow us to analyze that. You may need to have that replacement axle shaft fabricated out of a Cub Cadet axle shaft. On the other hand, you might be able to have that one welded back together.

its a cub cadet rear an you can check wiht abody that you know that has cub cadets axales are out of a narrow cub 102 ; 104 106 i have axles for cubs they sell for 30.00 an axcle if you need i have them an can ship them to you 30.00 plus shipping . im in pa you can email me at [email protected]

Looks like a bearing got too hot or something, or it was heat treated or welded.
