What model tractor is this?

This tractor is in a 1941 John Deere CC cultivator brochure. What model tractor is it? Appears to be a BR? Why and how would the front wheels be set so far out. If it is a BR, then the fellow on the tractor must be pretty small. From the back, it looks more like an AR.

Notice that the king pin and wheel hub are visible at this angle. Seems that the axel is standard and the hubs are special. I agree that it is ether a AR or BR. Could it be a BO? How low is the seat?

You say the brochure highlights the CC cultivator? If I were to guess, I'd say it was an experimental tractor. Since they were selling the cultivator, they didn't really care what sort of tractor was pulling it. The guy putting the pamphlet together found the pic and his boss said "go for it".

As I say - Just a guess.

Its a BR, an AR would have the muffler coming out of the Hood with the Airstack, The BR is the only one that would have the airstack only. If it was an AO or BO, there would be No Airstack and No Muffler out of the top of the hood.

The cultivator looks smaller than 8 ft. It was also made as a 6 1/2 ft and this picture looks closer to that size.
