What oil for the old CASE?

1942 CASE SC. Any recommendations? Years ago my Dad ran 30w when it was readily used on the farm. Now its a show and parade tractor, occasional ride back on the farm, and used to drag off a tree limb or so. With new modern oils, additives, weights, what might be the best flavor to use for it, since it sits a lot and not heavily used. I seldom use it in real cold weather. Multi vis?. Synthetic?.
Thx in advance.
Was restored and repainted 20 yrs ago. Engine needed nothing done to it.

Olegent is smarter than me, but I highly recommend a high quality 15W40. I have no opinion on Synthetic, but would never criticize it.

Greenfrog here.yes, I agree. John speaks with wisdom and expertise. He has advised me on several things over the years, here on YT and even on the phone once. Thx John Saeli.
