what size box blade?

New to tractors and just got a to-20 and want to get a box blade and needing to know what size the tractor can handle. thanks

I wouldnt put anything larger than necessary. For that tractor it would be just about even with the rear wheels, or maybe just past them. I would stick with a light duty because of the weight; but you might be able to handle a medium duty. A standard blade from TSC, or the like should work.

I have a to20 and I have a 6ft blade with it. works great. with a 6ft blade you cover the rear tire tracks. There are a lot of used blades out there,Check farm auctions or craigslist, if you don't want to buy new. Another toy I bought for my tractor is a dirt scoop. They make one that the bucket is reversable, nice. saved this old back on the wive's honey do list. and since I am rambaling a carry all is really nice too. greg

No smaller than a 6 footer. You will want the blade to be wider than the rear tire EVEN when it is angled to one side to direct snow/dirt off to the side.

You cant angel a box blade

My to-20 handles a 5ft BOX blade with no problems.

My mistake, I was thinking a plain ol rear blade.
