Always wanted one, has a 10 Hp Kohler looks to be cast iron. I need toget lots more info on the unit andy help will be appreciated.

From the ground up look at dash support tower(side faceing you when sitting on tractor)wh usually puts id tag at top of tower, overhang of dash usually hides so you can't see,get mod# off tag, goto link below, enter tractor mod#,will tell you the yr made and have parts lists & acc that were avail for tractor.

Steve,

Th Wheel Horse model C-101 8 speed were made in 1978 and 1979. Look under the dash panel for a small metal tag with the VIN on it. All C series Wheel Horse models had the heavy duty Unidrive transmission with 1-1/8 inch axles and 8 pinion differentilas. Here is the VIN's for the C-101.

1978 - 81-10K801
1979 - 91-10K901

Hi Bill,
My typing is getting faster & better, must be spending too much time online.By the way the fair grounds where wh show being held -is it in gettysburg, and what road or rt# is it off of?

Joe,

Arendtsville, PA is just west of Gettysburg by 12 miles on RT 30. The South Mountain Fairgrounds is on RT 234 between Biglerville and Arendtsville and RT 234 is about 4 miles from RT 30.
I put a address up in the "More on the 10th Annual Wheel Horse Show" post below this one that you can use with a GPS or www.MapQuest.com to help.
