I bought a tractor today at auction. I am told it is a GT-14 came with 52" plow,chains, mower deck and canvas cab. I gave 525.00.What year is it and whats it really worth?

I think they were a late 70s- early 80s, but in my opinion, if that thing is in good shape, runs good, deck good, cab in good shape,you got a very good deal. I think it would easy be worth a thousand, maybe 1500.00. if it is actually a GT14, that is one nice unit and well built.

The Wheel Horse model GT-14 was made from 1969 to 1972, here is a list of VIN's to determain what year model you have.
1969 - 1-7441
1970 - 1-7451, 1-7452, 1-7453
1971 - 1-0500, 1-1501
1972 - 1-0502, 1-0503
To make a assesment a few pictures to see the condidtion would be needed the value, I have seen this model sell used from $450.00 to $1,500.
Finding one wth a canvas top along with the 52 inch snow blade is quite a find. In it's day the GT-14 was one of the most powerfull garden tractors and is very well built.

I would have to think that a GT14 is still one of the most powerful garden tractors. I have not found anything that would compare.
