Wheels-paint

The various Bs and Cs, '47 and earlier, that I have gotten a hold of, had a 3/16 black pinstripe on the outward face of the bead of the rims that were painted orange, front or rear. Hard to see on ones that had been repainted but clear on non repaints.
I have never seen the pinstripe on a restored tractor at the shows. My question is, was the striping a local dealer thing or were all these tractors striped when they left the factory in the early years?
Any knolegable input would be appreciated.

Several years ago someone posted a picture of the tractors coming thru the paint line at the factory. I didn't know how to copy and save into a picture file at the time. I have ask a coupla times if someone had that picture if they would re post it.
If it was re posted and then could be re posted when questions were ask it would expel a lot of the ideas of what the original tractor looked like.
I used to take it serious and try tell how they were painted but someone 20 years old or younger would swear that they had an original tractor that had all these different things. The old men that were around just cant remember correctly.
I gave up and tell any one that asks me now to paint to make themselves happy.

In 1955 my Dad bought a new WD45 and the front Rims were solid AC Orange while the rear Wheel Centers were the same but the spin out Rims were an Aluminum paint color. No Pin Stripes at all.

My 1941 B had a pin stripe on the front rims. I
repainted the tractor back in 1972 and did not
restore the stripes. If I remember right the
stripes were blue to match the Allis lettering
on the hood. I am sure this was a factory item
as my grandfather sure would not have done it or
the dealership he purchased it from.

Thanks guys. It was not a major point, just wondered if I was missing something, or seeing something that wasn't there.
I have seen the stripes on WC/WD front wheels, but those wheels get swapped and canablized enough that I would not even venture to guess what years were represented. I bought two yellow ones off a Massey at the junk yard that were AC orange under the yellow.
Out of the eight B/C tractors that I've been familiar with only three showed any signs of repaint. All had stripes and all came from a 15 mile radius of home. The newest beeing a 1947 C.
