Where is everyone from

Good Morning Everyone. I usually try this once every couple of years so here goes. We have some fairly new folks on this site and I myself have always wondered where everyone on here calls home. So I will start. I live 2 hours east of Toronto Ontario Canada in a small town called Stirling. I own 1 Ferguson, a 1952 TEA-2085. I value every bit of info I read on this site. Its the best. Stay well everyone. Barry

San Luis Obispo, Calif. Half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. I have a TO 30 that was a freebie and I am amazed how well its built. I collect and restore old crawlers for a hobby.

I am from Holmrook, Cumbria, UK. I have a FE35, used on a smallholding and for vintage ploughing matches. Harry Ferguson was a genius and the Ferguson tractors one of the Great British inventions.

I live in the small village of Maryhill, a few miles outside of Kitchener/Waterloo, in SouthWestern Ontario. I own a 51&52 TEA20. My daily therpy, is checking in on this site. Thanks to all the folks that contribute from around our small world.... Alex

I live under Barry and Alex in Coldwater, Michigan which is just North of the Indiana Line on I-69. If you two would keep your cold up there it would be appreciated. LOL Richard

Guess I may now add a note to this, as over the week-end, became the owner of a MF-50. Kinda looks out-of-place among the 22 "RED" ones-- however it was given to me by a 'very special friend'. Has only 601 hrs. on the meter. Yes it is New World technolgy that brings us together, to help one another, or just have a break from the everyday events. Yep, you all are correct when saying this is a GREAT SITE! I am in Tyler,Tx., 100 miles east of Dallas,Tx., 100 miles west of Shreveport,La. on 1-20. Thanks to everyone!!!

I"m from Salt Spring Island B.C., Canada and a proud owner of a 1952 TEA20.Every morning I read the the new posts with my cup of coffee but don"t post much myself. Best wishes to everyone.

Well, what started as a simple hobby has turned into fleet maintnance. In June, I will be retiring after 30years of teaching Autobody repair to HS students on Long Island. I have a 1951 TO 20 # 55412, in it's work clothes, along with several red ones. We are 30 miles west of Springfield, Illinois and will be celebrating Abe Lincoln's 200th birthday next week. Currently I am looking for a TO 30 or TO 35 that my Father inlaw may have sold new (or used) in Hamel, Illinois. He was the dealer at that time and I was the gofer. Thanks, Del

La Crosse, Wisconsin. I have a 1951 TO-20 Ferguson that my dad bought around 1958 and my brothers and I put a lot of hours on it back on the farm. I do not use it much in the winter but in the summer it sees a lot of use for mowing and landscaping. I have a number of Ferguson implements and am always looking for more. I also have a 1970 165 Massey Ferguson and a 1943 SC Case which presently is not running. I also drove the Case a lot growing up back on the farm.

I'm from Sidney, Manitoba, Canada. I think this forum is the best! Have a '52 TE-20. Don't post much, but avidly read everything here!

I'm in Appomattox, VA, about 10 miles north of where Lee surrendered to Grant. Wife works in Richmond, so we keep a place there too. We have three TO-30s, an F-40, a Ford NAA, and an Allis Chalmers CA. We have old farmhouse and mostly plant food crops, a nice hay field, a garden, and some timber. We have lots of deer and turkeys, a few quail, and an occasional bear.

Holy cow. 12 hours ago this post wasn't even here! I am in the Conneticutt river valley of Mass, about an hour and a half east of Tom H, but I farmed on the 'merican side of the St Lawrence valley, across from Brockville/Prescott,Ont. Back then I was all Allis, I have a cute old CA left, a massive Cockshutt 540 industrial, the rest is some sort of Fergie, a '54 TO30 was for parts, now might run again, a '53 TO30 with Davis loader, she never won a beauty contest, a 1969 MF 20? gasoline 3 cly. Perkins golf course veteran that is slowly becoming a proper 135, like her serial #. And possibly adopting a '55 TO35. Our first tractor was a '41 9N, since burnt, but if i knew the next generation of Fergusons was this far ahead of the Fords, I would have never bothered with other brands over the years. This page is full of helpful, knowledgeable and polite gentilemen, I appreciate that, and hope it stays this way....

I'm in Ennis, Texas just about 30 miles south of Dallas in the blackland farming belt of Texas. Grew up on a farm about 30 miles southeast of here that has been in our family since 1888. Make my living as a veterinarian. Have a TO 35 that my dad bought new in 1955. Lots of hours, lots of memories. Currently nearing the finish of a complete restoration. Thanks for all the help guys, especially John in the UK.

Hi. I am a TEA 20 owner from Mittagong 100Km S/W of Sydney Australia. I find this a very helpful site to all fergy owners for the simple layman terms to keep these great machines going.
A BIG THANKS.
Regards John.

Perry, Michigan, about half way between Lansing and Flint. I have a 1953 TO-30 that I bought last summer. She will be pretty when the warm weather hits.

Hi,

I live in Pine City Minnesota 65 miles north of St. Paul, near interstate 35

I own a TO 20, serial no. TO 50

Gary

I also read the posts every day here in Adamant, Vermont. (I love learning about Fergusons.) I retired from teaching in '97, and since then, my Ferguson TO 30 (1953) has brought more joy to me than I ever could have imagined. I use her for firewood from May through November.
There are a few regulars on this forum that I think deserve some major kudos for their willingness to help klutzes (like myself) and the many real mechanics who post, by going the extra mile. I especially think of Jeff in Ohio, Jerry in Montana and John in the UK. If I missed any others, I apologize. I am a member of Fema and love the Ferguson Furrows magazine that comes out 5 times a year. A great idea, Barry.

Hello to everyone. I live in Greensburg, IN. I have a "52 TO-30; still waiting to be restored. I really enjoy reading the posts and thank those who have given me information for my repairs.

I have a TO-20 with a Howard and Hupp that is in the process of getting rebuilt
and a TE-20 I recently aquired with a cracked block. No, I am not going to weld the block.
Peace be with you!

Amazing! I am impressed with how many folks have posted since yesterday. I am just south of Birmingham, Alabama on a one-acre hillside lot so my 53 TO-30 doesn"t get much real exercise. I have been looking for some ground but the family CEO requires that it include a suitable house which has limited the possibilities. I continue to look for the 54 TO-30 and the (59 I think) MF35 that my Dad sold in the "60s. Well, I am also looking for the 48 Allis Chalmers G but that is another forum.

I live in Fremont, CA, (SFO Bay area) but all of our Ferguson equipment is in Odebolt, IA, a small town between Sioux City and Ft. Dodge. We have a 1955 TO-35, 2 plows, disc harrow, spike tooth harrow, rotary hoe, Dyna balance mower, side del. rake, 2 Ferg wagons, 2-row cultivator, Ferg manure spreader, among other implements, all in original condition bought new from the local Ferguson dealer by my Grandfather in the 1950"s. This is a great site and forum and I thank the many "experts" for their contibutions. Between this site and FENA we are lucky to have access to information that would otherwise be difficult to find, plus we get the added benefit of many friendships. Mike

I have 2 tranport boxes ,one 2- bot plow , a weeder, a rake ( working on it now ) a fergy jack and I'm got my eye on a scraper and a open slat 2-bot plow. this forum has helped me so much and I know will continue to help in the future. Near Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, about an hour south of Halifax. I've owned our 1952 TEA2085 since 1985, only started real restoration about three years ago. Got to the paint job last Fall. The old thing plows snow and hauls wood in the winter, mows fields and local railtrails in the summer. A great machine to work with and to mess with.

This forum is astounding. Thank you to all the great contributors, but a special thank you to John(UK)

My Grandparents lived in New Sheffield Terrace...I love Pittsburgh and I wish they were still alive, Aliquppa is a great town if they bothered to fix it.

Howdy,

I'm originally from South Florida but have recently relocated to Old La Sal,UT. I "inherited" a 1951 TO20 to plow snow. We live on 5 acres at about 7600' above sea level. I had never been near a tractor before but did work on a lot of old British cars when I was younger.

After getting a manual I found it's not much different than the cars of it's era.

The Fergy needed a little work ( rear wheel fell off!) but now happily starts at 0F and goes out and plows my road. Will be plowing today and apparently for the next week or so.

Dave

Hi Barry. My name is Ethan Berry from Vermontville, MI USA (near Lansing). I collect Minneapolis-Moline tractors and usually go by "Mopower" on the other forums.

Hey folks -- hail from Oakville, Ontario Canada. On my first tractor, a 51 TEA 20 which now lives up in the woods at the family place near Dunchurch, ON on the shores of beautiful Lake Wahwashkesh. I'm so grateful for all the advice and encouragement from the knowledgeable folks on this site and especially John (UK)'s endless patience with my emailing this past year (going to start again in the spring, John! :D ).

Fergy lives a varied, year-round life...

-clearing the street in the winter when the city plows can't

snowcropped.jpg

-taking junk to the dump in the summer

tothedump.jpg

-hauling boats out of the water in the fall...
