Whining while in reverse

I have a Ford 861 that whines while backing up. I have also noticed it in 4th and 5th gear, but not as bad. I haven't had this tractor very long and I haven't noticed it before. Is this a major issue. Thank You in advance for any reply.

Reverse idler gear bushing worn. Not hard to fix. Round cap,6 bolts hold it in. Gear will be sloppy on shaft.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I also have a whine when in reverse on a '63 Ford 4000 w/ a 4 speed. It dosn't always whine, and only does it in reverse. Do I have to split the tractor or can it be fixed by removing the inspection plate?
