White 2-105 question

I just bought a 2105, and i see on tractodata they say that they are a 354 perkins with a turbo. Mine does not have a turbo, were they optional?? Thanks!

NO. Look by the injection pump and you will see some numbers stamped in there. Post those. Then we can or should be able to determine what engine you have. A tractor spec number and serial number will also help. J.

It actually has a 5.9 cummins in it... is that a good thing or a bad thing? Worth more? Whats the HP rating on it? it does not have a turbo... Do they have glow plugs? How are they on fuel? Thank you, clay

That's a good thing. 354 Perkins are good engines, but they leak and are imho not as reliable as the Cummins. I'd say you have at least 100 hp, but it you'd have to have it dynoed to know. Those engines are used in so many applications, that it could be any hp. Also, that engine did not come in the tractor, it was swapped in later.

Probably not worth more, and it does not have glow plugs, it should have an intake heater instead. The engine should be real good on fuel.

This is a link to the White 100, that had the same N/A Cummins as you should have.
