Looking at a White 2-60 4wd with loader. I think its a Fiat model but would like some feedback on how good/bad a tractor it is. Can parts be obtained from Agco? What are its pros and cons?
Thanks

My dad has a White 2-65 4WD. It is a good tractor but parts are hard to come by and are expensive. Hard to find parts for Front axle for sure. I don't believe AGCO carries White tractor parts.

My uncle and I both have 1365 Olivers (same tractor as 2-60). This is the most used tractor. Great for chores, pulls 3x14" with ease. Very easy on fuel. Hydraulics are a little slow. You will want to check the end play on the crank shaft. The worst thing about these tractors is people would run with the PTO clutch lever up and it places a constant foward load on the thrust bearing in the engine. Bearings wear, washer drop out, and crank hits side of the block. If the PTO clutch has not been left up durring use, this is not a problem. In my opinion, this is one of the best tractors that was in the Oliver line up. My 1365 has about 5500 hrs and my uncle"s has about 7000 hrs. Mine has not been rebuit, but my uncle"s has. Parts are easy to get (unsure about the 4x4), but are a little higher than other Olivers. Hope this helps, Stu.

The White 2-65 is not related in anyway to the 2-60 which was a Fiat (Italian) built tractor from Italy. The 2-65 was a completely different model built by Iseki in Japan. White switched to sourcing Japanese tractors after their relationship with Fiat ended. The first Fiat built model sold was the Oliver 1250.

Do a google search for Import Tractor parts in Ontario, Canada. He has a write up of each Fiat built tractor with the pros and cons. The 2-60 is high on his list! He also supplies parts.
