One of the best tractors they built--same as the 1650 and 1655 Oliver tractors. Buy it if its reasonable!

We bought a 2-70 about a year ago. With only about 20 tractors around the place we thought we needed just one more. Funny thing how every time I wanted to cut hay,round bale,square bale or pull a 14ft disc, I headed for that 2-70. It isn't our newest or biggest or most comfortable (no cab) but it sure is the handiest. No loader on it so I can't address your specific question, but I sure like that tractor. Joe

I have had one for a couple of years now and in my opinion a great all around tractor. Nieghbour has one with a loader and he says it works great.

I,ve had one that I bought new in 1977 ,It has been a great tractor it has a QA 1730 loader on it which is very easy to remove, makes a very nice loader tractor very econical to run .I have taken it on the Great Iowa WHO Tractor ride for the last 5 years ran it all 3 days on less then a tank of fuel Tom

I agree, a White QA loader would make a nice unit coupled with a 2-70.

They are the same as my 1655 Ollie, except for the tin work and grill. They eliminated the big heavy cast grill in the front. The only other change I can think of is the 2-70 has the spin on oil filter, instead of the sock type cartridge filter the 1655 has.
