that the last tractor that goes in the barn is always the one that wont start???? went to get the backhoe out today, pulled the m in last,starter took a dump on the m, loader was down on the ground, blocked all the others in, gotta get the starter rebuilt. (really should straighten out the barn a little too)

That's her way of letting you know that you've made that same promise once too many times to take care of something on her but keep putting off. But don't cuss or kick her, or she'll get her feelings and pride hurt like a wife, and then get more even with you later. Nope, pat her on the fanny and laugh that she got the better of you this time. Then when you're out of earshot like in another county, cuss and kick, and maybe have a beer. Grin.

Last summer I was working on a tractor and a fella mildly jumped on me for having it out under a tree instead of inside where it could be dry and would, I guess, be more likely to keep running. I offended him a little with the reply, I think, but it was basically that I don't have a ton of room and I can't stick a non-runner inside where it would likely be a constant nuisance blocking the ins and outs of tractors that DO run.

My JD 630 did that to me once. I had to pull some loader brackets to get the flywheel cover off. Then I had to craw under, well, you 2 banger guys know the rest.

Some of us have found out the hard way that we should always BACK the loader tractor in the shed in the winter in case a big blizzard comes along. Good luck with the starter. Jim

Quick coneects on the loader lines helps with that problem. Just connect up a handpowered porta power pump and raise the loader and the pull it out.

I've been stuck with a 4wd pickup 4 times in my life, and once was blocking the shed door I needed to get a tractor out of the pull the pickup out.

By the time I'd moved enough stuff in the building to get a tractor out of the side door, the ground had frozen enough that I drove the pickup out with out pulling it with a tractor.

...yeah, and ain't it funny that, as soon as you start thinking about selling one, it will immediately break down and require considerable effort and expense to repair, making it a better choice to just keep it after all.
