will not start

I have a 93 Dodge 250 with a 12 valve cummins. I replaced an injector and now it will not start. I have tried to bleed it out numerous times, but it seems like it isnt getting much if any fuel through the injection lines. If I unhook all the lines from the injectors and crank it over I only see maybe a drop of fuel come out every once in a while. Do I still have air somewhere? What things should I check for?

Yup, you still got's air! You shouldn't have to completely unhook the injector lines, juts crack them open a bit. I'd say you got air somewhare back towards the filter. There is a bleeder screw back by the filter you loosen and then push the little hand pump and you should have it out there at least, then you'll have to go do your injectors one at a time.

I have a '99 with the 24 valve. Had a problem last winter where it quit on me. What I had to do is first bleed the system at the fuel filter (make sure it is full). Then I went up to the injection pump and made sure the feed line was air free. Then I went to just one of the injection lines and opened it up at the injector and repeatedly turned engine over. For what seemed for hours, only bubbles came out, then all of a sudden it started catching. I tightened the injector and turned it over a while longer and it caught. I'm not sure if this is what a mechanic would advise but it did get mine going. Also, make sure if your lift pump is manual that the handle is in before you try cranking the engine over.

If ya got air in the system it is not due to just changing one injector . Son you got other problems and myself i would stat at the tank and come forward. I have had problems with my 95 that plum drove me goofy and when i got the time to really look it over and track down the problem of sucking air into the fuel system i found a pin hole at the tank sending unit and had to replace the sending unit in the tank and of course the tank was full . Good old fashioned rust had done it's thing on the neck of the sending unit and never showed a wet spot
. SOOOOOo start at the tank and move forward to the lift pump then on to the injection pump.
