wiring harness

Is there a place out in the eastern U.S. that makes wiring harnmess for older tractors? If so, do they have a web site? Thanks for any help. Harold

NAPA has all the wire -- hornes webbing and conections......If you have the time you could save some money......

I've used his harnesses. I'd recommend him highly in any event, and if you're lookin' for the original style cloth loom, he's definitely the guy. Not cheap but a very fair price for what he delivers.

It's definitely a lot of work and intensive figuring to get lengths and sizes correct and such. it's all done by hand, i imagine.. certainly worth giving him the money for.

Thanks for the replies. My old harness was burnt so it would be hard to make besides time consuming. I will call Agri Services in the morning. Harold

Yep. He's got things listed for a LOT of tractors, so he's got to have a good bit tied up in field research.

Two things he does that I like. He labels every single wire (like the small wires up around the generator) and the terminals at each end of the wires in the harness with numbers that go to a crib sheet for what they are and where the ends go. And to top that, he uses the original colors for the insualtion and tracers on the wires in the harness itself, so that they actually match up to the colors on the IH diagrams in the manuals, so that you know where things go long after his temporary labels are gone.

I should add that I've heard good things about Brillman, too, but don't have any experience with them.
