Wow - Engine gaskets hard to find...

Geez - I thought I could at least order some gaskets from one of the parts houses here in town. I tried Napa, O'..O'..O'..O'Reilly, Autozone, and Tractor Supply. No one stocks 'em, no one can order 'em! Just need the head, water pump, manifold, side covers, & carb gaskets! Guess I'm gonna order off this site, if the shipping isn't too high.

I'm surprised.. TS C usually has carb and manifold gaskets... and na pa generally can get all of them... In any case.. you can probably find them all right here.

O'reillys has the full set or just the head set but thats all BTDT. Full set will cost around $47 from them also. I ended up ordering a set from a place close by me there number is 800-383-3678 and there cost for a full set was $27

napa or carquest can get them, they will have to get out the master gasket BOOK and then open their eyes and read, its not on their new computer, but it is in the master book, felpro gaskets serviced it with a full set aand they used to have a head set, but im not sure about the headset now, look for the guy behind the counter with the grey hair, he'll know where to find it

You try WCT in back of TSC yet? I started dealin with them and found em cheaper on a lot of stuff and I got more confidence in it also. Just a thought.

Not true they just don't want to do so. My local O'reilly's has them on hand so if they have them your can get them.

Yeah I've bought some stuff from them. I just ordered some from Krenek's on Hwy36. Full engine set, TISCO brand 29.95 no tax! Thanks.

That might be a little extreme. I do know at times you need to know which guy to talk to in those stores since about 1 in 10 know what there doing. I do know that if I can get the part on my local store then you can also get the same part since they use a central warehouse for all there parts. But being in Missouri it helps since there based out of Missouri
