I see that there is going to be vote on rules at the next meeting. Who is on the rules committe? What rule changes are being considered?

not sure? i wish they would get a set and stick with them, I'm tired of changing stuff to comply.i did hear some talk that some guys are trying to get tire rule changed again (16.9s allowed again and to allow 18.4s in 8500 and up div 2) i guess we will see.

Allowing bigger tires in 8500 and up is not going to make much difference, I don"t think there is anyone who pulls that heavy, without pulling 7500. There were pullers who changed tires last year due to the rule changes, it will cause a lot of grief if they are rescinded.
There has been a lot of talk about allowing top cut tires in D2, I thought maybe that was back in the works, I would not be in favor of top cuts.

I would favor top cuts then all three local clubs could go and pull at all three clubs, anyone can do a set of top cuts, its only a matter of time before it in nationally and locally.

Just for the record i would not be in favor of a tire rule change again or top cuts.

I retract my earlier statement, I want what is best for the club. If they end up voting for changes or not, the club has good leaders and knows what is best, I will say for the record, that there have been far less issues with rules anywhere else I have pulled last season.

i made the motion 2 years ago at the rules meeting to leave the rules unchanged for the next season and just about got hung. i personally think rules should be for at least 3 year other than safety.

that sounds good to me too. LC is my 2nd favorite place to pull, and sadly has the most problems, I only hope that things dont end in shouting matches at the start of this season or things might really get shut down fast. The club officers need to make sure they finalize rules very clearly in february and enforce them in april, its really that simple.
