however, if you do find a used one,

if you have to pay to have it removed from the old wheel, then shipped, you will have a lot of money in a old junk/used tire, that may or may not hold up for years to come and then you have to do it over again.

if you have a nice spreader, then it's worth the extra money to do the job right the first time and forget it.

not too many of these size tires around!!!!

I would love to own an old spreader, do not know really why, just always wanted one and its on my bucket list.

12.75-24 is a big tire - equiv of a 14-24 or a current 16.9-24. Unfortunately you are not going to find anything close to matching in a new tire.
