Year-A-Round Cab Questions

What model of Year-A-Round cab would have fit an IH 966, and would that fit an Oliver 1650? I've heard that the QT-1 will fit an Oliver 1650. I am going to look at a cab that was on an IH 966, but don't know what Year-A-Round model it is.

Second question, how universal are the cab mounts? Will it be a lot of cutting and fitting to get a QT-1 from a 966 (if that's what it is) to work on my Oliver?

Thanks for the help.

Back in the 80's I sold and mounted New Year-around cabs. I think cab mounts and filler plates that fit around floorboard and rockshaft housing will have to be altered or fabricated in not for your model tractor. Tx Jim

The cab itself it universal. The filler sheet metal, mounts, PTO control lever and floor plates are all specific to the tractor model.

Pretty good cab. Noiser' than a freight train tho.

According to the salvage yard they are different for the tractors. My 966 has a model 211 on it.The JD has a different #,they say the doors & such won,t fit each other.
