Yoke style 3-point hitch control

I own a 45 model 9/2N tractor. The 3-point hitch quit working. I disassembled the hydrolic system only to discover that it uses a yoke type connection to the pump and I can't find any information on this system to reinstall it. My parts and service manuals don't adress this system. Just says "not serviced". Can anyone tell me how to reassemble this system or refer me to the proper book to look it up?

The two yokes simply connect to the T looking thingy that is connected to the control valve. Just pull them apart and place the open ends over the ball ends of the T thingy.
If they were still connnected to the control valve T you may have broken the stem of the control valve when you removed the top cover. They are supposed to be disconnected before pulling the top cover.

Billybuck,

Same info I have in my parts manual. Thanks anyway. I need to know what parts go with item 1 of Hydrolic lift shaft & Related Parts. Chart 05B01.

our terms, "item 1 of Hydrolic lift shaft & Related Parts.", makes no sense. Chart 06B01, item 1 is the control yoke assy.
????????

Do you not have an I&T F-04 manual? The back of the book contains a detailed drawing and explanation of the scotch yoke system, which is used on all N-series tractors.---lha

Go to this page in the YT parts catalogue and about half way down the page is the hydraulic control valve.
