Z delco starter drive

has any one purchased a starter drive for 6volt older ztu from yesterdays tractor i got 3 and all are wrong rotation i have 3 starters that are identical off 39 ztu 40ztu and r off ebay any answer appreciated john

I FOUND WHAT I NEEDED AT MY LOCAL ELECTRIC SHOP
IT'S SURE WORTH A TRY. THOSE GUYS NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY! LOTS OF THAT OLD DELCO STUFF WAS MADE FOR YEARS AND USED ON MANY THINGS.

I would check local starter/alternator shops too. When I needed a drive for a Jetstar2 my local shop had a new one in stock and it was cheaper than that VB place in Iowa.
 
Our local shop is an older established one, they stock new drives for my Molines and most tractors. Very reasonable also.
