ZB wide front

Cousin wants me to go in on halves for a zb. He wants a tractor for bringing firewood up from the farm I have down the road and a eventual restoration project. For it to be worthwhile for me, it need's to handle chores like 150 bu spreader, run NH 25 blower, and flail chop. From what I can tell horsepower is just a little above 30 hp, just at the minimum for the chores mentioned. Is a front end loader worthwhile on this. For me, a restoration tractor is a few years away, are they that rare. Have a JD 2510 diesel doing those jobs now.

I love the foot cluch an the tractor! But the No power steering an No live power pto might be a little set back, but don't get me wrong I would buy the tractor in a heart beat!!!!

I agree I would buy it too. They were only made a few years (53-55). We handled a 150bu spreader with a ZA but the drawbar needs to be doubled or a heavier one installed. They steer a little easier than a ZA. If it is a factory wide front it wouldn't be heavy enough for a loader in my opinion. You might be underpowered for some jobs. I think pto hp was 36, drawbar 31. They are a nice riding tractor, quite a step up from a ZA.
