Hi
I saw your response in a thread from a few years ago where you modified the filter base for the newer filter.

I was wondering how you modified it. I assume you have access to a lathe for the cap, but what did you have to change to the filter base? Also, where did you get the rest of the material like the longer bolt and spring, etc.?

I found a messick's diagram which shows both. See next message.

Thank you,
Ed

Hi Paul,

I saw your post about your 4000 loader backhoe. I have the same exact tractor but without the backhoe but would like to add one. I can find plenty of information on adding a backhoe without a loader, but not much with a loader. If you see this, I'm wondering if you would mind sending pictures of your backhoe and the subframe brackets and how they interact with the loader frame.

Thank you,
Ed

I’m building a Minnieoplia moline U pulling tractor. I’ll pull in the 5000 to 6500 pound classes and was wondering what size rear tires people might think that works best.

I’m pretty sure it is a 10 rim but I know I’ll have to get bigger rims to upsize the tire

18.4 34 would be good.
Popped the crank out the other day, that last main cap was in there hard. Last main wasnt nearly as bad as the other two. Now I just need to get the block and crank down to the engine guy to get the block boiled and ask for bearing specs and a polish.
Hi Mike, I had read a previous post from a few years back on a 1209 JD mower conditioner. I believe you mentioned you had a copy of the technical manual. Would you be able to email that to me? My email is moline at woodstocktel.net
I am mainly looking at replacement of the rubber roller bearing replacement on the right hand side, just behind the small drive sprocket. Thank you very much.
