Hi all. Need help. Have a 800 series diesel that won’t fire even with starting fluid removed the head to see if I could identify a problem but so far she looks ok. Aside from a huge buildup in the cylinder head exhaust ports. Pistons look good and so do the valves. Having a hard time identifying whether or not it’s a sleeveless block, please advise.

Welcome to YT. the answer might be directly associated with the carbon deposits. Diesels are prone to making carbon, but if they begin to wear the presence of extra oil cokes up (coking is the deposition of carbon into hard deposits through heat) the exhaust passages. low compression also makes starting very difficult.

Hi all, have an international 434 with a tph hiccup. Slowly lowers then pops back up. Changed all fluids and filters no change. Any ideas?

The lift piston needs to be resealed. It pops back up because the position linkage is telling the valve that the hitch is going down.

I have a cockshutt 1850 hydra power drive new Alt. Was my uncles I know it always started. I think he used ether to start it sometimes. I’m looking at 12k has front bucket loader the encased cockpit I think there’s some attachments for the back to plow fields etc. I don’t know to much about tractors I’m open to offers. I need help My 610b has turned out to be three different models all in one! My barn find little tractor has no serial numbers that I can find ANYWHERE on ANYTHING. All I know is they (unknown #) were given to the state of Kansas highway department with a side mount sickle bar mower The gentleman I got it from said it was his dad’s And that he mowed for the state of Kansas, and he got it from them when retire

Clutch pack on the cockshutt 1650 has been removed along with shaft. Agriterra is in the process of rebuilding it and soaking the fibre discs in oil.
Who fabricates a knock off 3 point hitch assembly for this particular tractor? Have factory ones in the past been a problem in their operation at all?
