I think their are some old stipper wells in the county to the north that are around 2500-3000 feet. Everything else around here is 7500 to 12,000 feet.

Is farm equipment a liquibile asset?

Liquid asset means an asset that is easily turned to cash with little or no loss in value. Such as accounts receivable, stocks, bonds, cds, bank accounts, and precious metals. In order to quickly sell your farm equipment you may be forced to sell way at a discount. It is definitely an...

    JD 2750 Air Conditioner

The compressor will have 134a label on if it is a 134a system. I have a 2350 that went thru 3 compressors in one season. I was fortunate the supply house replaced the compressors with new one but I was out of the labor to have it replaced. Watching the mechanic was the bulk of my...

    Feral Hogs

The older they are the nastier they get. Goes without saying, old domestic boars stink pretty bad too but nothing like the wild ones. You can trap them then take the younger ones and feed them a month or so and that does help. Hard to do that with one you just shot in a pasture. If it is...

    JD 2750 Air Conditioner

If you are as "lucky" as I am, be prepared to spend about $600-800 a year to the AC running. $1200-1500 if you have someone else do the work. It is worth learning how to do it yourself.

Finally some rain to plant oats

Supposed to be warmer than normal so just might help some but it still isn't going to grow without rain. We got 2/10ths so we are still waiting. I do have 10 acres that came up with moisture from a 3 incher we got the first week of September. The rest was dry planted and still waiting (I hope).

    Hi-Lo shift on 2955

As I understand it (and I could be wrong) the high side is hydraulically engaged. A loss of pressure will automatically drop it into low range which doesn't require hydraulics to engage. So if the line to the high side is blown it simply won't engage in high range but low range should operate...

    john deere 662 rake

The basket has two adujustable spring loaded rods you use to adjust the left side and right side of the basket. The single crank raises and lowers them in tandem. Note the diagram only shows one side.
