    transmission drain

    Just a curious question. As we all know, over time water builds up in the rear end of these old 2 cylinders. Has anybody ever put a small valve in the drain plug to drain off the water?

    427 Tall deck rebuild

    Too much to change to throw a 3208 in it. I found a 427 TD for practically nothing. I had a 427 before it did pretty good. If I could get 10 mpg out of any motor it would be worth it but I don't see that happening.

    There's a c/70 in Ca. on Craigslist for 2600 dollars it had a 427 allison and air brakes it looked really good according to the pics posted. I have tried to search for it to send it to you but I had no luck. If I do come across it I'll post it.
