    What about proper handcrankin procedures? I have to haul a Farmall A about forty miles from home saturday, the 6-volt battery is shot. I dont really want to buy a new battery right now because of winter coming on. It is just for a photo shoot for a wedding. thanks ,Brad

    I have found that if you use high octane fuel it wont be as bad. I blew a head gasket on a 17hp kohler one time because of backfiring.

    175 massey coolant disapearing

    My dad has a 175 diesel. We cant figure out where the coolant is going. Its not getting into the oil. Its not leaking while parked. but he has to add to it every time he uses it. Any ideas? Thanks ,Bradley

    I am having a problem with throttle response. Tractor wont idle down and has very little change at high idle. have checked for binding on carb side. tractor runs fine. Seems like governor may not be returning on low side. Any suggestions? Bradley

    you have a 49 cub and a 51 super a both are fun tractors enjoy them you can get parts for both on the internet. Go to farmallcub.com for the cub. Yoy will find a wealth of info for it there.Just surf the net for farmall and you can get just about anything for either one. Brad

    Yes, put your regular cleaning media in and add about a cup of coarse sand to it. It will clean up nuts and bolts pretty good. Brad
