    JD 1530 Gear Shift/Cover Replacement

Thanks grwrench. I finally got the plug out. I thought that was going to be the easy part. Things went downhill when I broke the roll pin almost flush with the plug while trying to extract it. Ended up having to cut, grind and pry around it to remove it. The old cover was shot anyway as it...

    JD 1530 Gear Shift/Cover Replacement

Thanks. Appreciate the info so now I know that valve has to be removed. Now I just need to figure out how to remove that plug. Once I do that then I will remove the valve, move T30788: One-Hole Straight Drilled Pin (8) from the original cover over to the replacement and cap it with a new plug.

    JD 1530 Gear Shift/Cover Replacement

I am in the process of replacing the AR61916 (T30753) Cover on a JD 1530. The reason I am replacing it is because the left shifter socket is worn to where shifting is becoming difficult to the point of it locking up. I was able to locate a replacement but the replacement has the Hi-Lo valve...

    MF 135 Trans cover

It's kinda hard to say. Looking on the Agco Parts page there are two type of covers depending on thickness. 190861M2 7/8" thick, 897558M2 1-1/8" thick. I don't see where it differentiates between gas and diesel. I performed a google search on your question and the AI response was.. In...

MF250 Lucas CAV Injection Pump Part Query

I am performing a reseal on this pump and have misplaced a part off the main head. I am still looking for it but just in case I do not find it was wondering if someone was familiar with it and/or had resources to look it up. I have come up dry thus far. I have performed several searches and...

MF 35 Diesel Deluxe Lift Piston Replacement

I'm with you on that one, hence the post. Some parts sellers linked that 2-1/2" piston with the MF35, but in all honesty I may have misread it. I've seen the piston upgrades done on the 8Ns (Jubilee style), but wondered how this was incorporated in the MF35. After my original post I did find...

MF 35 Diesel Deluxe Lift Piston Replacement

Has anyone ever replaced/upgraded from the 3" cylinder / 3" piston with rings to the 2-1/2 cylinder with 2-1/2" piston with O-Ring and backup washer?

    Disc Harrow Identification

Thanks. I didn't think about that. I think I narrowed down the manufacturer, though. I just happened to see a video of someone restoring a 3pt disc harrow. In the video I noticed what looks like the same manufacture label. In it's entirety it is King Plow Company from the Atlanta area. It...

    Disc Harrow Identification

Thanks Jim. That is my guess. They did quickly respond to my email stating; "Doesn’t appear to be one of ours. Amco, Rome, & Taylor Way were painting yellow." Not sure where they saw yellow in the pictures other in the trim on the label that surrounds "something" Plow Co with a green...

    Disc Harrow Identification

Thanks Mike. I did call them to try and find a cover disk but the number I gave them off the disc did not show up in their system. I asked them if I could email them pictures of it to possibly identify the model and they declined stating they only needed the disc measurements. I provided...

    Disc Harrow Identification

Was wondering if anyone could help IDing this disc harrow. I know we've had it since the early 80s and bought used but would like know the manufacturer and possibly close to a model. The best I can see from a tag it is "something" Plow Co. My google searches return Athens Plow Company. Well...
