    Coax, that last post should have said "make up" of the seat cushion. In other words what would be the replacement parts I would need to get.

    Coax, I see from a previous post you have a 240. The only remnants I see are the ends of what used to be upholstery "no sag springs". What's the make of the cushion?

    There is nothing left of the springs or filler. It"s a metal frame filled with burlap bags! It looks like it used to have metal springs and vinyle (black) covering. I would attempt a rebuild if had something to start with.

    I checked Case/IH web sight, under parts & service, click on "operator manuals", then click on "order manuals and catalogs right here, in the model/keyword(s) box type 830, don't fill in the other boxes. The sixth manual down will be #9-1566, and the cost listed is $19.86. Be aware it doesn't...

    I inquired at a Case/IH dealer and the parts man said the correct part number is 9-1566, cost $28.

    Case-O-Matic fluid

    I have an 830CK as well and want to replace the fluids. My Case dealer said I should use TCH fluid in the Case-O-Matic clutch, but can use Hy-Tran in the transmission. TCH fluid is $89.00 for 5 gallons! He said it"s worth it. Any thoughts?
