    Funny what you find when you remove a little paint on a SM.

    What do you suppose this was? Casting or machining flaw at the factory? It's the right upper forward corner of the rear end housing.

    International Model 16 Plow part.

    This is the part that the pull rod pulls on and it lowers the rear tail wheel. 518609 R1. I believe they were also used on the Model 60 and 70 plow. And may be on plows earlier than the Model 16 for all I know. Researching the part number it looks like IH also used them on a hay rake or two...

    Schwartz wide front vs. factory height.

    Mine is 35 3/4" and 36 1/2" To the axle center is 28 1/2" Are those Titans 14.9 x 38" in the pic? They look too big for 14.9's and look like 16.9 x 38" on widened rims if I were to guess.

    Easiest/best LED conversion.

    I have a '53 SM Stage 2. I don't care if I have pancake lights or the tear drop lights on it. Both would look correct on a '53 to me. What's the easiest led lights to do that look like factory? I don't care for the look of some led's from the front that don't look like factory lights.

    12" x 38" drop center rims.

    Yes, shipping is an issue. I can't remember the name of the place right now but shipping was like buying a third rim when I priced them out.

    Goodyear Farm DT800 Super Traction R-1W 149 A8 These are the metric radials that are going on it. They are a R1W tire at about 70% tread which is about the same as a new bias ply tire. The tread looks like an original old 45 degree bar.
