    Drilling Safety Valve Orifice

Well i got it back together and nothing changed it still seems like it is cycling the hydraulics. I could see bubbles coming out the side of the block by the 3 pt lever. Like it was releasing pressure through the side plate

    Drilling Safety Valve Orifice

It is a 300. Maybe I will go look tomorrow for one just a hair smaller, just so it doesn't get too big.

    Drilling Safety Valve Orifice

So I got around to removing the orifice screw with the screen. It says 24 on it, the hole is about the size of a pin. From what I understand it should be a .03" hole. I have a 1/32" bit which would be about .03". This would end up being about twice the size as the pin hole it has now. Am I...

    300 Utility Rims

Does anyone know if the rear rims off a 8N would fit a 300 utility? Both are 28" and 8 lugs. I thought I had read somewhere that they would be interchangeable but don't want to buy if they wont fit. Thanks

    300 utility hydrualics

I will check that out. I did try to do some searching and came across a topic that said to check the pressure relief valve. That a hole or screen can be plugged. Any idea where that would be located? The case ih parts website is currently not working.

    300 utility hydrualics

I have a 300 utility. I have most things operating the way I want now. However I do have this problem where it seems like the hydraulic pump works the engine while not operating the hydraulics. So describe this a little better. When I start the engine it seems to pulsate loading the engine, now...

    Dearborn Shank Conversion

Yes that would work perfect but I doubt that I would have much luck finding the shank units. Like I said I want to use the existing frame but want to use a different shank that would be common and easily replaced.

    Dearborn Shank Conversion

Has anybody ever converted a 3pt Dearborn cultivator to a more rugged shank? I have broken 2 of my shanks on the cultivator now and want to find a renewable and more rugged option. I use this for foodplotting and only work a couple of acres a year. I was kind of thinking of finding an old out of...

    Engine Oil

It is a gas 300 utility. Lots of opinions, I will probably just try the 10-30 or 15-40. I don't run it too hard.

    Engine Oil

Owners manual calls for sae 30 in summer. It should be fine to use 10w-30 instead correct? Sae 30 is quite expensive compared to the latter. Thanks

Well I am supposed to have the new altenator today. Probably wont get to test it till tomorrow night. Hopefully that fixes it.

    18 volt overcharge
