    Stuck clutch removal on an 860

    The overnight soaking loosened the clutch up enough to get it out. There was a bunch of solidified dirt and sludge between the clutch and flywheel that had hardened up over the years.     I actually removed all of the bolts just to make sure and it is still stuck. I'll give it another try tonight. Thanks for the help!

    Stuck clutch removal on an 860

    I just split my 860 project today because the clutch was stuck. The clutch needs to be replaced but the dual stage clutch is rusted into the dished part of the flywheel and I can't get it to come loose. Any suggestions??? I've sprayed it with PB and WD and will try again tomorrow.

    I've read that the Tisco bearings are not angled correctly but come with a race. The part #8N3571-OE that some websites offer says "Exact of original".     Seal cross reference # needed

    I have a ford 860 with five speed and double clutch and the old countershaft seal # NDA77047A seems to be unavailable. Does anybody have a National seal cross reference# ? I did see another # D6NN7R240A and it referred to a #233274 but I'm not sure if this is the one I need.

    Made a copy of the Y shaped muffler bracket today and saved about $30-$40.

    Front axle pivot pin removal

    My pin is rusted on the front around the snap ring on the end of the pin and I have not been able to to get it loose. I made the tool to fit between the dog ears but have not had luck with that either. I did jack up the tractor to take the pressure off of the pin also.

    I've got the manuals and should not have any problem splitting the tractor. I just wanted to see other owners photos of there splits because the repair manuals don't show much detail.

    Front axle pivot pin removal

    I'd like to hear your ideas on removing the threaded pivot pin on my 860. It seems to be seized up pretty good and I've soaked it with penetrating oil and applied heat to it but no luck so far. I'd like to know what the extreme measures would be as a last resort also if it gets to that point...
