    The steering on my MT also has a lot of play - the pins that fit into the worm gear are worn and actually a little loose. I'm wondering where to get replacement pins, and does anyone have any tips on how to replace them? If I replace the pins do I also need to replace the worm gear?

    JD MT - need advice on replacing seals on slightly worn axle

    I'm replacing seals and bearings on my John Deere MT axles and final drive shaft. There is some wear on the axle and shaft where the oil seals are. What is the best way to repair the shaft so the seal will not leak? I want to do the job right the first time, and need advice. Any help is appreciated!

    Deere MT touch-o-matic groove pins

    I just replaced the seals on my MT touch-o-matic. With the quadrants off, I was able to position the hand levers so that I could tap out the groove pin with a hammer and long punch. If this doesn't work for you, don't know what else to suggest. Good luck
