3.152 Perkins Crank - OK or not?

I have a 230 MF Diesel and the oil pump went and spun a rod bearing. The journals all were a little eat up. I took it to a machine shop that was recommended to me. He turned the mains .10 and the rods .20 and checked the rods and everything. I've put it back together but haven't put it back on...

    Ford 3000 running rough

It's the little round thing next to the fuel line with the nut on top. Just take it off and get the mesh out and clean it with carb or break cleaner real good. You may have to let it soak. Blow it out with a copressor.

    Ford 3000 running rough

No I don't. It looks like a small breather cap round about 3" and a nut holding it on top. All of the pumps don't have them. If you know what the breather cap on a Jubilee or 600 where you put the oil in it looks like a smaller one of those.

    Ford 3000 running rough

If it's a Simms injector pump some of those there's a small round cap with a nut holding it on top of the pump. Under it there's a steel mesh filter that gets dirty and clogged up. Take it out and clean it good. I've had those make it seem like it wasn't getting fuel but in fact it wasn't...

    Bought a Ford 600 yesterday... 70 year old seller guarantee's it's a 1953 Jubilee

Just so more food for thought on these old fords that's very good and bad. I have a ford tractor that has a 600 hood and emblem. I know for a fact the engine is a Jubilee but the transmission and rear end is a 640. For most things it really doesn't matter but on some things it does. For instance...

    Calling Grandpa Love

Thanks for the info. Yeah I'm going to go look at Kubota there's a dealer about 5 miles from me now. I'm not afraid of used heck I've never bought anything brand new except a riding lawn mower! Are the loader and backhoe easy to take off and put on?

    Calling Grandpa Love

Just wondering if you still have that MF loader backhoe? How is it doing any problems so far? I'm fixing to retire and seriously thinking about getting me something along those lines with a grapple on the loader to clean up around my place and help my old a$$ with lifting and things like that...

    Shoulders

My shoulders have been hurting real bad the last 6 months or so worse laying down at night. This is tractor related because after I finish cutting all my grass with mine they're real bad. The Orthopedic Doctor took x-rays and said arthritis. My doctor had thought that and gave me Manoxicillin...

    Right wrong or what ever

Old like you said right wrong or whatever but I never run a thermostat in any of my tractors. Just something to stick and make them run hot as far as I'm concerned. Never had any problems.
