    Electric clutch on White mower

    Posted in tractor talk probably shoulda done it here. Got responses, but maybe more here. White 2550 vtwin kohler engine, which I heard they might be out of biz. Runs fine untill engage blades. Could the pto electric clutch be bad. New fuel filter. Air, Plugs are fine. Should clutch turn freely...

    Generac won't start 5000 Centurion

    Getting gas,spark. Drained fuel bowl after trying to start,with many pulls,ether carb cleaner. Gas that was drained was awful yellow. No more than month or so to start. Kept saying pull it out and start but many chores. My fault. How do you check low oil sensor, one wire? Thanks, Dave

    Hydraulic valve thread fittings

    There is a name for them threads and for the life of me cant think of it. Keep looking. Tried putting npt in mine and had to rework the threads. Hydrualic shop gave me the name.

    Power Steering -Update

    What about tow in on '61 801, however you do what they say, does it matter a whole lot one way or the other?

    Check valve torque again

    Never really got an answer on the torque feeling like it was bottoming out on '61 801. left it at about 40# or so. New ball and what the ball sits on,can't remember what its called. same spring, but solid. Thanks, Dave

    Ford 850 Governor

    Jack it up and loosen the bolts on the bolster(axle support) pull out a little and take off cover and governor slips out and check for flat spots on fly wieghts. My New Holland dealer had the fly weights on order for 6 months and never got them in, because internet boys by them up. Good luck

    Check valve

    Did the torque on the plug that holds the check valve on the lift cover,"61 801, got to about 40# and just seemed like it was bottoming out. New o-ring, ball. Is this just the o-ring pushing up in there? Thanks for any info. Never messed with that before.

    Thanks everyone! Yes Richard that is the 901 that I bought from you. Once I put a 2-14 plow on it the hoses blew. Going to take this remote and put it on my 801 I am restoring and put the dual remote off the 801 on the 901. Love the cylinder for top link, what a luxury. Old remote had the old...
