    425 NH Baler problems

My new holland small square baler seems to not retract the twine needles causing the plunger crank to hit it's safety stop and shear the shear bolt. What is wrong/how do I retime it. The baler is in great shape and was a barn find. I'd bet 20k bales on it tops, we've been doing 1000 bales a...

    F-20 rear tire size.

I need advise, I am putting new rear tires on my F-20. It has the late style cast center wheels with 10-36 tires on it. I know that 11.2-36 is the correct replacement but I have heard of them with 12.4 and 13.6-36 tires. I think a wider tire might look better. I am thinking 12.4's would be...

    8n steering sector wear

Thanks Dan. By bushings I assume you are talking about the bushings that go in the steering sectors. I was considering just purchasing the whole rebuild kit which includes the bushings, bearings, seals, etc.

    8n steering sector wear

I am rebuilding my steering box on a 1948 8n. Is there anyway to tell how much wear on the steering sector gear are acceptable or how to check it? If I take pix of the sectors showing the gear portions, can someone tell by that? I would hate to re-assemble the box if the sectors are worn too...

    8N steering problem

I'm sure this is covered someplace in this forum but I'll try it anyway. I have an early model 8N. Difficult to turn and when it goes all the way right or left, the steering is impossible to get back without somehow moving the front wheels manually (kicking them). Help.
