    Jump start

    Hello everyone new to the site. I just picked up a Ford 8N that has a 8 volt battery in it. It still has the 6 volt system on it. My question is can I remove that dead battery and start it up with a 12 volt battery temporarily just to see if runs. Going to switch everything over later to a 12 syste.
